It’s Never Too Late to Turn Your Flying Dreams Into Reality
Do you want to become a pilot as a first career, second career, or earn advanced ratings? Maybe you want to be an airline pilot. Maybe you want to buy your own plane and explore the country – or you’ve decided it’s time for a career change and pilot is top of the list! You need an independent CFI who understands what its like to train as an adult, and can help guide you on a path to success. Get in touch with me and we’ll make a plan to get all of the ratings you want done. I’ve been there and done that!

Where will we fly?
You can fly with me in the greater Seattle area with a focus on Arlington, WA. I’ve flown all over the USA (12 states and counting) and have yet to find a more beautiful place to fly. We can explore the Cascade Mountain range and the San Juan Islands in the same day, and there are several great practice areas near the airport with plenty of space for maneuvers.

Testimonials
“Bryan, thanks for teaching me about the ‘sampling the response’ technique, it has really improved my landings!” – James V
Certified
A pilot since 2003, Bryan holds a Commercial Pilot’s license, CFI (Certified Flight Instructor), CFII (Certified Flight Instructor – Instrument) as well as AGI (Advanced Ground Instructor) and IGI (Ground Instructor – Instrument). As a husband, father of three, Physics Ph.D. and former instructor of Physics at Boston University and the University of Arizona, and ex-Facebook engineer, he brings a wealth of teaching and life experience beyond the FAA ratings.

Adventure
Bryan loves taking flying adventures. He picked up this 172 and flew it from Atlanta, GA to Seattle, WA solo. This is about as close to a true “cross country flight” as you can fly. When you train with Bryan, he’ll share what he learned on this real world cross country with you, to help you be a better pilot. Plus, because of the proximity to the San Juan Islands, Puget Sound, and the Cascade Mountains, we can fly to some amazing places even during your primary training!
